In 2001, our research team was formed to help visionaries take their dream idea and span that gap to the store shelf. The company was called Dreamspan.
In 2006, after five years of helping countless Fortune 500 companies launch successful products, we started to miss not having our own brands. Over the next several years we turned our attention and resources to research from our labs and created our own dream brands. Today, Dreamspan is still the science behind DreamBrands.
Based in Phoenix, DreamBrands has assembled a team of specialists including chemists, scientists, formulators, food technologists, engineers, designers and marketers. In the last 20 years, this management team has successfully launched over 75 products.
DreamBrands was formed in order to give the world those new products that we felt it needed most – products that would improve our own quality of life and help us defy our own maturity.

On a daily basis, we explore the connection between nature and science. The ultimate is to find bio-actives from Mother Nature that work in synergy, complementing one another while at the same time generating multiple benefits. Essentially, we aim for 1+1=3.
Much of DreamBrands’ research begins at a cellular level. Our highly experienced research and development team globally sources, tests and creates proprietary blends of naturally occurring plant-based ingredients that have proven highly efficacious through extensive scientific research. There are countless bio-actives contained within herbs, roots, leaves and mushrooms, many of which make up the plant’s natural immune system. The trick is getting various actives extracted and standardized properly so they are reproducible, still active and safe for human consumption. At DreamBrands, it’s always our priority to ensure our manufacturers use safe extraction techniques without altering the natural state of the compound being extracted.
There isn’t a product we make that we don’t test on our entire team during the R&D process and it’s not uncommon for us to do hundreds of adjustments along the way. As a result, our comprehensive product line delivers innovative, natural solutions for inner wellness (nutritional supplements) as well as outer wellness (personal care).
Our entire product line is conceptualized and formulated at our headquarters in Arizona. Each of our premium products are manufactured in the southwestern United States.

At DreamBrands, we practice what we preach. Morning team rides, lunch-hour brainstorming hikes on the desert trail behind the office, weekend warrior runs where we compete for Monday morning bragging rights. Gary is a renowned 35-year formulator and expert advisor in the health and wellness field. He started working in a research and development laboratory as a teenager and never looked back. Gary is internationally known for creating innovative new product concepts and breakthrough technologies that solve health issues and improve quality of life. The inventor of Zicam, along with countless other breakthrough commercial products and patent applications, Gary has held senior management positions for The Wrigley Company, Gum Tech International and Nabisco Foods Group.

Graduating second in her class, Cecile holds a master’s degree in chemistry from St. John’s University and has a diverse background in management operations of personal care, food and OTC drug facilities in both large and small companies. She ran the research analytic lab for Pepsi Cola and was a chemist for Life Savers at The Wrigley Company. During her time at Wrigley, she was selected for the Wrigley Innovation Team Award for most successful introduction of a new product in Wrigley history.

Jon has over 30 years of experience with consumer products, private equity, venture capital funds and managing emerging companies. Prior to DreamBrands, Jon held senior management positions for CDR Capital Advisors and Security Pacific Venture Capital Group, one of the largest and most successful financial institution venture capital programs in the country. He holds a M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.A. in economics from Harvard University. Jon currently serves as the president of the Phoenix Ivy Council, an organization comprised of over 16,000 alumni from 29 research universities, such as Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford, MIT, and the like.

The winner of more than 65 Addy Awards, Ron has over 28 years of experience in design and brand strategy. His efforts have contributed to the growth of both product and corporate brands. Ron has worked on design and brand development projects for some well-known companies such as Doubletree Hotels, Disney, The Wrigley Company and Right Management Consultants. He and his partner were selected to Adweek Magazine’s Creative All-Star Team.
